The Idea
A creative shoot featuring EZMIO, the Australian gel nail brand. We aimed to give gel polish and salon tools a playful, editorial personality.

The concept
Two worlds run through the series. In one, the brand's chrome nail tools sit on a sculptural liquid-metal tray, splattered with gel polish in expressive, painterly strokes. In the other, gel polish behaves like something good enough to eat: dripping over a blueberry, coating a raspberry, pooling into glossy red spheres and soft pink swirls on dusty rose. Tulips and petals soften the palette and echo the polish's shine.

What I did
Concept, art direction, set design, prop styling, texture work, still life photography and retouching, all in-house at Sonique Studio in Sydney.
