MECCA COSMETICA Holiday Campaign 2025

The Brief
MECCA COSMETICA asked creative agency Chain Social for its Christmas 2025 campaign: 9 e-commerce images and 13 lifestyle images built around the brand's limited-edition holiday pouch, gift crackers and Face Series favourites. The brief called for imagery that felt festive and joyful but polished and high end, moving away from plain packshots toward more creative, editorial storytelling.
The Approach
Working from Chain Social's moodboard and shot list, we interpreted stylised Christmas rituals through still life: a tablescape with a silver tray, a glass of bubbles, playing cards and peppermint candies; gift crackers on a plate with gold cutlery; pouches perched on stacked plates and spilling out of tissue paper; tinsel, scattered snow and a crumpled silver backdrop. Two lighting looks run through the series, a soft diffused light and a bolder offset flash, against a hand-painted watermelon linen backdrop that ties the set together.
What we did
Set design, including the hand-painted linen backdrop, prop sourcing and styling, still life photography, lighting and retouching, all produced in our Sydney studio. The full series was shot in two days and delivered within a week, ready for MECCA's holiday launch.
