SOMI Content Shoot 2025

The Idea
A still life study built around SOMI, the Australian beauty decanting brand whose mini jars let you carry your favourite products in less space. I wanted to treat their small, modular containers as objects worth lingering over, the way you would a beautifully laid breakfast table.
The Concept
The set borrows from a quiet morning ritual: a beaded white plate, a single brown egg, folded linen, translucent vellum and a gold spatula, all on soft powder blue. The egg, nature's own perfect vessel, sits beside SOMI's cream mini jars, quietly echoing what the brand is about: precious things, carefully contained.
The Technique
This shoot was an exploration of a softer, more editorial look. Diffused light, deliberately soft focus rather than crisp product detail, and a white vignette added in post-production for a hazy, dreamlike finish.
